Tears

The tears are falling.
My mind is racing.
My heart is aching.

The tears are falling.
My body is hurting.
My soul is bleeding.

The tears are falling.
My breathing is shallow.
My eyes are sore.

The tears are falling.
My voice is silent.
My screams not heard.

The tears are falling.
My thoughts are scrambled.
My judgement is poor.

The tears are falling.
My courage is failing.
My spirit is weak.

The tears are falling.
My pain is so raw.
My being is lost.

The tears are falling.
Will they ever stop?
